Mr. Handerhan co-founded ClaimPros, LLC. and the Federal Association for Insurance Reform (FAIR), both organizations are broadly recognized and creditable national insurance resources for consumers.
Mr. Handerhan has held senior executive leadership roles in the areas of operations, marketing, sales, governmental affairs, and development of strategic corporate strategy throughout his career.
Prior to founding FAIR, Mr. Handerhan served as the President of FAPIA, the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters, the largest statewide public insurance adjusting association in the United States.
Mr. Handerhan has nearly twenty years governmental affairs experience educating legislators and regulators at the state and national levels of government about first party property insurance. Mr. Handerhan has extensive underwriting and claims experience pertaining to first party property insurance at the state and national levels, with specific domain knowledge of the most challenging geographic insurance operating environments.
Mr. Handerhan received his bachelor's degree in political science and master's degree in business administration from Florida Atlantic University. Additionally, Mr. Handerhan has the following industry designations and licensure:
